Launceston to bring in Cornish Pirates Darren Daniel on loan
Launceston are set to bring in Cornish Pirates winger Darren Daniel to Polson Bridge on loan for next week's Cornish derby match with Redruth.
Daniel, 25, has not made an appearance for the Pirates since joining them in the summer and had a knee operation earlier this season.
The move follows news that ex-Pirate Ryan Westren, who was on loan at Launceston, has joined London Scottish.
Daniel has played for Wales Under-21's and Celtic League side Scarlets.
"I would say that we'll see him playing for Cornish All Blacks next weekend," Pirates boss Chris Stirling told 91热爆 Radio Cornwall.
Daniel would have joined in time for Saturday's trip to Clifton but suffered a recurrence of his knee problem, but Stirling remained confident over the player's fitness.
"He had a fairly vigorous training session this week, but unfortunately his injury flared up a wee bit," he said.
"It's nothing to worry about, just another week."
