Exeter Chiefs prop Brett Sturgess says he is relishing going back to his former club Northampton.

Sturgess played for six seasons at his home-town club but wants to return with a win on Saturday.

"To go to Northampton and go to Franklins Gardens and come away with something is going to take a lot of hard work," he told 91热爆 Radio Devon.

"But it's something we can do. All my family are from Northampton so they'll be there."

After recording , Sturgess feels Chiefs will be confident when they face a Saints side who have lost four matches in a row.

"We do go there with confidence because we know how well we can play," he said.

"It's putting our home form on the road and coming away with what we want and hopefully that's a win on Saturday.

"Looking into the future if we can continue improving in the fixtures like we did last year we'll be there or thereabouts."
