Cornish Pirates have further bolstered their squad by signing winger Darren Daniel from Welsh Principality Premiership side Carmarthen Quins.

The 24-year-old wide-man becomes the ahead of next season.

Daniel scored 21 tries in 49 during five years with Welsh Magners League side Scarlets before last summer.

Daniel also has age-grade international honours up to Wales Under-21s.

Cornish Pirates boss Chris Stirling said: "As with other signings we have announced, the coaching staff are very excited in getting Darren on board.

"Tipped for senior international honours just a couple or so years ago, he is a quality winger who is still only 24.

"Having proven finishing ability, he will suit our style of play which is so often entertaining for supporters to watch."
