Greg Burke: Hull KR sign Wigan Warriors forward on loan

Hull KR have signed Wigan Warriors forward Greg Burke on a year-long loan deal for the 2015 season.

The 21-year-old made seven appearances for Shaun Wane's side last term, having made his debut in 2011.

Burke has spent time on at Workington and also had a loan spell at Bradford in recent seasons.

"With us losing Neville Costigan, Greg will be a perfect replacement and I'm sure he will fit right into our system," said head coach Chris Chester.

"He likes to get his hands on the ball but he's got a strong work rate too and he'll be a good asset to the team."
