Salford City Reds sign Ryan McGoldrick & Rhys Williams
Salford have signed free agent Ryan McGoldrick, while Warrington's Rhys Williams has joined the Reds on loan.
Both have agreed moves in time to be involved in Friday's Super League opener against Wigan Warriors.
Versatile back McGoldrick, 32, ended the 2012 season with Hull FC, while Wales winger Williams, 23, spent time on loan at Castleford last term.
Fellow new signings and Jack Murphy are also named in Salford's initial 19-man squad for Friday's game.
But ex-England centre Martin Gleeson, who agreed a two-year contract with Salford after completing a drugs ban, will not face the Warriors after suffering a calf injury which will keep him out for up to four weeks.
The club have called a media conference for Thursday, when it is expected that millionaire racehorse owner Dr Marwan Koukash will be confirmed as Salford's new chairman.
