Australia's Rebecca Artis won the Scottish Ladies Open after a final round of 66 at Dundonald.

She finished on six under par, two strokes ahead of overnight leader Suzann Pettersen, who shot a 74 on Sunday in North Ayrshire.

England's Holly Clyburn was third on two-under.

"Sometimes you fight all your life to try and get that first win and sometimes the second win is maybe even harder," said Artis.

She told the Ladies European Tour "I've been playing some really consistent golf since the start of the year, putting myself in contention week in, week out. I knew that with the conditions the way they were predicted to be today that if I went out and played some solid golf, then I wouldn't be far away.

"I've got my coaches over here from Australia, Gary and Luke Edwin. Whenever they're around I feel like I go to a new confidence level with my overall game."

Scotland's Pamela Presswell was joint eighth on three-over par, the only player other than Artis to break 70 on the final day.
