World number one Lydia Ko of New Zealand kept Amy Yang at bay to win the Women's Australian Open title.

The 17-year-old, the youngest ever world number one, carded a two-under 71 in the final round at the Royal Melbourne course for a two-stroke victory over South Korea's Yang.

Overnight co-leader Ariya Jutanugarn of Thailand shot a 76 to finish third.

England's Charley Hull was joint seventh after a final round of 73, finishing eight shots behind Ko.
