MK Dons have to find a way to "grind out results" after starting the new League Two season with back-to-back defeats, according to boss Mike Williamson.

The club reached the play-offs last season before losing to Crawley Town and have undertaken a major revamp of the squad since then.

But an opening 2-1 home defeat by Bradford City was followed by a 2-0 loss at Colchester United, who scored both goals late on.

"We're two games in and sat here with a horrible, horrible feeling - zero points," Williamson told 91热爆 Three Counties Radio.

"If you look over the statistics, the possession, the chances, we'd be happy with that - if you didn't know the scoreline. That indicates to me that the quality hasn't been there and we haven't been ruthless."

MK Dons have already signed 12 players over the summer - six of whom started against Colchester - and Williamson expects more before the end of the transfer window.

And expectations at the club are high following the recent takeover by a Kuwait-based consortium.
