Watford have completed the signings of Bournemouth striker Daniel Jebbison and Udinese defender Festy Ebosele on season-long loans.

Jebbison, 21, joined the Cherries from Sheffield United for 拢1.5m last month on a four-year contract and came on as a substitute in their Premier League matches against Nottingham Forest and Newcastle United.

"I am a sponge right now, I want to soak up everything and learn as much as possible, and be a better player on and off the pitch," he

"There is a good structure here with good people, and good things that you don鈥檛 see behind the scenes.

"The gaffer [Tom Cleverley] is very ambitious in his goals, he is very clear in his mind what he wants, and we share the same values."

Ebosele, 22, is a Republic of Ireland international and adds to head coach Tom Cleverley鈥檚 wing-back options at Vicarage Road.

He made 31 Serie A appearances last season for Udinese and has three senior caps for the Irish national team after making his debut against France in September 2023.

The Hornets have also released Nigerian winger Samuel Kalu from his contract by mutual consent after two and a half years at Vicarage Road.

The 27-year-old Nigerian, who spent last season on loan at Swiss club Lausanne, made 13 appearances for the club, the last of which came in January 2023.

Watford are next in action away to Jebbison's former club Sheffield United on Sunday having won all five league and cup games so far this season.
