Truro City go second after Hampton and Richmond win
Truro City moved into second place in National League South after a 3-0 win over Hampton and Richmond.
After a goalless first period, Tyler Harvey headed the Tinners in front after 58 minutes before firing in at the near post six minutes later.
Connor Riley-Lowe completed the win with a header 14 minutes from full-time as City moved three points behind leaders Farnborough with a game in hand - the two sides will meet in Hampshire on Tuesday.
"Going into October we looked at the fixtures and thought it's going to be a really tough one," Truro City boss John Askey told 91热爆 Radio Cornwall.
"If we can come out of October and still be in and around it then it will have been a good month, so it's pleasing how things are going at the moment.
"We've can't take our foot off the pedal, we've got to keep going - there will be some bumps in the road I'm sure, but so long as the players keep the attitude that they've got then we'll be fine."
