Truro City change crest and nickname for new season
Truro City have unveiled a new crest and new nickname ahead of the forthcoming National League South campaign.
The club will no longer be known as the 'White Tigers' due to their lack of association with the city.
City will now be know as the 'Tinners' - their original nickname which reflects the mining heritage of Cornwall.
The club's crest has also been changed with Truro Cathedral prominently displayed above a St Piran's flag.
Truro are set to name a new manger later this week to replace Paul Wotton, who left the club to join Torquay United last month.
The club are preparing to return to the city this summer in a new stadium following more than three years away from the city.
