Watford defender Pollock signs new contract
Watford centre-back Mattie Pollock has signed a contract extension to remain at Vicarage Road until the summer of 2029.
The 23-year-old has made 40 appearances across all competitions for the Hornets since joining them from Grimsby in July 2021.
He spent much of his first two seasons with the Hornets out on loan, with spells at Cheltenham Town and in Scotland with Aberdeen.
He scored his first goal for the club in a Carabao Cup win against MK Dons in August and has stared all 14 of Watford's Championship games so far this term.
The club said Pollock has become a "standout" player this season "after patiently waiting for his chance".
