Stevenage sign Cardiff midfielder King on loan

Stevenage have signed Wales Under-21 international midfielder Eli King on a season-long loan from Cardiff City.

The 21-year-old came through the Bluebirds' academy and made his Championship debut three years ago.

King joins the League One club after loan spells in League Two with Morecambe and Crewe Alexandra, while he has also played in the Scottish Premiership for Ross County.

"I'm really excited," he "It just seemed like the right fit for me and where I am in my career now."

King is expected to be in Stevenage's squad for Saturday's league game away to Burton Albion.
