Antwoine Hackford: Burton Albion sign Sheffield United striker on loan
League One side Burton Albion have signed striker Antwoine Hackford from Premier League club Sheffield United on loan for the rest of the season.
The 19-year-old has been with the Blades for a decade and has made three top-flight appearances.
"Antwoine is an exciting attacking talent and someone who needs to be unleashed," Brewers boss Martin Paterson
Burton say Hackford is their sixth and final signing of the transfer window.
He is the third striker to join the club in the last week after Crystal Palace's Ademola Ola-Adebomi, Jonathan Leko from MK Dons and Kyle Hudlin from Huddersfield and will compensate for the loss of Leko, who has returned to the Dons after getting injured five minutes into his debut at Cambridge on Saturday.
