Goals from Nathan Tyson and Adebayo Akinfenwa earned Wycombe a sixth-straight home win as they beat Newport County in League Two.

Tyson slotted the Chairboys, who climbed to fourth with this victory, in front to cap a fine team move.

And, after Joss Labadie hit the bar for the Exiles, Akinfenwa sealed the points for the hosts when he took the ball on his chest and volleyed home.

Newport ended with 10 men after Labadie was shown a second yellow card late on.
