Leroy Fer: Swansea City midfielder aims to make an impact
Swansea City midfielder Leroy Fer says the club's supporters fans have yet to see the best of him.
Fer, 26, made nine appearances in a loan spell with Swansea during last season's 2015-16 campaign.
The Dutch international joined on a permanent deal from Queens Park Rangers earlier this month on a three-year contract and is eager to make an impression.
"I want to improve and get better," 11-times capped Fer said.
"Last season I came into a team that had already played six months together and I had to fit in.
"But they made it very easy for me and I know the lads so for me [the aim] is to get better and show the Swansea fans what I've got in the locker."
Fer scored his first goal for Swansea in their 5-1 pre-season win at Bristol Rovers on Saturday.
The win at the Memorial Ground was the first game since an American consortium a 68% controlling stake in Swansea City.
"It's good for Swansea City," Fer said of the takeover.
"For us as players we need to focus on what we do on the pitch and what we're doing now is preparing for the Premier League.
Swansea face Swindon Town away on Wednesday before completing their pre-season with games against Wolverhampton Wanderers and Stade Rennais.
Francesco Guidolin's side start the season at newly promoted Burnley at Turf Moor on Saturday, 13 August.
