Notts County: League Two club has temporary transfer embargo lifted
Notts County have had their temporary transfer embargo lifted after clearing debts to football creditors.
The League Two club, who have been put up for sale by owner Ray Trew, was placed under the restrictions in May.
County also staved off a winding-up petition by settling an outstanding debt to HM Revenue & Customs in April.
Meanwhile, the club have announced that defenders Haydn Hollis, 23, and Wes Atkinson, 21, have signed contract extensions at Meadow Lane.
Hollis made 31 appearances for the Magpies this season, while former West Brom trainee Atkinson featured in 17 games.
