Rangers extend Gedion Zelalem loan from Arsenal until summer

Arsenal midfielder Gedion Zelalem has extended his loan spell with Rangers until the end of the season.

The United States Under-23 midfielder has made 15 appearances since joining the Scottish Championship side in August.

The Ibrox outfit are top of the league and meet League One Cowdenbeath in the Scottish Cup on Sunday.

Zelalem, 18, has been with Arsenal since 2013 and has made two senior appearances for the Gunners.

Meanwhile, Accrington Stanley midfielders Matt Crooks and Josh Windass have signed pre-contract agreements to join Rangers in the summer.
