Russell Slade: Cardiff City boss wants winning run after Bolton win
Cardiff City boss Russell Slade has urged his side to build on Saturday's 3-2 win at Bolton and start a good run.
The Bluebirds moved into the Championship play-off places with only their second away win of the season.
"If we can stay strong now and pick up some points going into this Christmas period, it will give us an opportunity to hang on to one of the play-off spots," Slade told 91热爆 Radio Wales.
"We're looking for that run of games now. We need to back this game up."
Slade's side, who had not won away from home since a 2-1 victory at Nottingham Forest on 29 August, host Sheffield Wednesday and Brentford on 12 and 15 December respectively.
"We need to get a back-to-back win," he continued. "That might give us the momentum, going forward.
"It's been a while since we won away from home and it was important that we came (to Bolton) and tried to take all three points.
"I thought we moved the ball really well at times. We moved the ball between the lines and looked a good side.
"It's that consistency, with and without the ball, that we need to find.
"We're doing it for spells. At times we look a good side but then at times I think 'that's not so clever, that's poor'."
