Oliver McBurnie: Striker unavailable for Newport FA Cup tie
On-loan striker Oliver McBurnie is not be available for Newport County's FA Cup tie against Barnet on Saturday.
Swansea do not want the 19-year-old to be cup tied with him due to return to the Liberty Stadium at the beginning of January.
McBurnie has joined the League Two side on a month's loan and scored a hat-trick on his debut against Luton Town.
"He's not our player and it's not our decision. Swansea have said he can't play," said County boss John Sheridan.
"I knew that at the beginning of the week anyway so I've planned for it.
"So someone else will start and hopefully make the most of the opportunity.
"It's not frustrating, it's just something you get with loans unfortunately."
Newport County's form has improved dramatically since the appointment of Sheridan as manager.
As well as their Cup success, the Exiles are unbeaten in seven League Two matches and have moved five points clear of the relegation zone.
