Michael Turner: Sheffield Wednesday sign Norwich defender

Sheffield Wednesday have signed Norwich City defender Michael Turner on a season-long loan deal.

The 31-year-old made 23 league appearances for the Canaries last season before ending the campaign on loan at Championship rivals Fulham.

The ex-Brentford man helped Hull to promotion to the Premier League in 2007-08 and has also played for Sunderland in the top flight.

He could make his Owls debut against Middlesbrough on Saturday.
