Will Randall gave Swindon Town a dramatic Football League Trophy first-round penalty shoot-out win over Newport County after they were tied 1-1 at the final whistle.

Anton Rodgers put Swindon into the lead early only for Aaron Collins to equalise in the second-half.

Collins then missed when the scores were 6-6 at the penalty stage.

Randall made the most of his sudden-death chance to send Swindon into the second round.
