Plymouth Argyle have signed ex-Rangers winger Gregg Wylde on a one-year deal following his release from relegated Scottish Premiership side St Mirren.

The former Scotland under-21 international scored three goals in 44 appearances for the Saints last season.

Wylde spent an unsuccessful season in England with Championship side Bolton, which included a loan spell with Bury.

Speaking before confirmation of Wylde's arrival, Pilgrims manager Derek Adams said he expects to do more transfer business in the next few days.

"We're very hopeful of concluding a few deals this week," Adams told 91热爆 Radio Devon.

"It's important because we're thin on the ground, but if we can do that we'll have a good core to the squad."

Wylde is Adams' third signing since taking charge earlier this month, with Gary Sawyer and Jake Jervis joining in recent days.

"We'll have the majority of the squad in by the opening day of pre-season (6 July) and we might have two or three players to add to that, and that'll be the squad we'll go with," Adams added.
