Aston Villa and Norwich are interested in signing Swansea City and Wales defender Jazz Richards.

Swansea have accepted a bid from Championship side Fulham, believed to be around £500,000, for the right-back.

Richards, 24, has held talks with the Cottagers, for whom he made 14 league appearances on loan last season.

After an impressive performance in Wales' 1-0 win against Belgium, Richards is now attracting interest from Villa and Norwich.

Neither have made a bid yet but have been alerted to Richards' availability at a reduced price because he only has one year left on his current contract.

Richards is expected to discuss his future with Swansea and the interested clubs when he returns from holiday on Thursday.

The Swansea youth product was a surprise starter as Wales moved three points clear at the top of Euro 2016 qualifying Group B with a memorable victory against a Belgian side ranked second in the world.

Richards coped admirably with the daunting task of marking Belgian captain Eden Hazard, limiting the Chelsea playmaker to just a couple of half-chances.

That display has alerted Premier League sides Villa and Norwich, who have joined Fulham, Queens Park Rangers and Derby in expressing their interest in the Swansea defender.

With fellow right-backs Kyle Naughton and Angel Rangel at the Swans, Richards has found his first-team opportunities limited at Liberty Stadium.

Since making his Swansea debut in 2009, Richards has made 39 league appearances for the club and had loan spells at Crystal Palace and Huddersfield, as well as Fulham.

The versatile full-back, who can also play in midfield, played in Swansea's last three Premier League matches of the 2014-15 season.

But he is understood to be open to a move in order to enhance his international prospects.
