Leon Clarke: Bury sign ex-Wolves striker on three-year deal
Bury have signed experienced striker Leon Clarke on a three-year contract ahead of their return to League One.
Clarke, 30, was released by Championship club Wolves in May.
"When we found out a player of his ability and quality was potentially available, we had to do all that we could to secure his services,"
"He has the pace, power and intelligence to have a massive impact for us next season."
Having started his career at Molineux, Clarke returned to Wolves from Coventry in January 2014, but he struggled for first-team action and scored only three goals in his second spell at the club.
He spent the final months of the 2014-15 campaign on loan at Wigan Athletic.
