Jordon Ibe and Jon Flanagan sign new Liverpool deals
Liverpool winger Jordon Ibe and defender Jon Flanagan have signed new deals to stay at Anfield.
Ibe, who broke into the Reds' first team this season, has signed a new five-year contract with the club.
"Liverpool are a great club and I like the philosophy here, I'm enjoying it," the 19-year-old said. "Hopefully I can just keep doing well at the club."
Flanagan, 22, who has not played this season after suffering a knee injury, has signed a 12-month extension.
Ibe was signed from Wycombe Wanderers as a 16-year-old, after making his debut for the Chairboys aged just 15.
And Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers says Ibe, who had had loan spells at Birmingham City and Derby County, has a lot of potential.
"He's a great talent, a big talent here for the football club and I'm delighted that he has been able to sign and commit to the future of the club," he said.
England international Flanagan is set to miss another six to nine months after having a new operation.
