Scotland U19s miss out on place at European Championship
Scotland missed out on a place at this summer's European Under-19 Championship despite ending their elite round qualifying section unbeaten.
The Scots topped Group 6 after a 2-1 win over host nation Austria and a 0-0 draw with Italy.
Victory in their final match against Croatia would have guaranteed Scotland one of the eight places in Greece.
However, they were held 1-1, with Oliver McBurnie on target, while Austria beat Italy to go through.
Sascha Horvath netted on 79 minutes to make it 2-1 to Austria, following their 2-0 success against Croatia.
Scotland made it to the elite round as the best third-placed side in the qualifying round, having drawn all three games against Norway, Lithuania and Finland.
Uefa's championship has been running every year since 2002, with Scotland beaten by Spain in the 2006 final - the only occasion they have qualified.
