Notts County 0-1 Port Vale
Mark Marshall's first-half strike earned League One Port Vale a narrow victory over struggling Notts County.
The winger capitalised to slot into an open net after defender Mike Edwards and goalkeeper Roy Carroll collided.
The home side responded positively but Garry Thompson failed to get enough contact on a ball played through by the impressive Paddy McCourt.
Liam Noble fluffed a chance and came close with a header but the hosts lost for the ninth time in 12 league games.
Notts County manager Shaun Derry told 91热爆 Radio Nottingham:
"I feel like a broken record. It's frustrating. The frustration in the stadium at the final whistle told the story. We could and should have been out of sight in the first half.
"Once more, the goal we conceded was a calamity and how we didn't score I'll never know.
I've seen the same as everyone here. We were a team that absolutely dominated in the first half, let in a sloppy goal and then struggled in the second to break down a resolute back-line."
