Jordon Mutch and Shola Ameobi sign for Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace have confirmed the signings of Jordon Mutch and Shola Ameobi.

Mutch has signed a four-and-a-half year deal at Selhurst Park after a six-month stay at rivals Queens Park Rangers.

Former Newcastle forward Ameobi joins as a free agent on a deal until the end of the season, having left Turkish side Gaziantep in December.

The 33-year-old forward scored 53 league goals during his time on Tyneside.

Midfielder Mutch, 23, made 11 appearances in all competitions for QPR.

He started his career at Birmingham and moved to Cardiff in 2012, featuring 60 times for the Welsh club.

The former England Under-21 international helped the Bluebirds secure promotion to the Premier League for the first time in their history before switching to QPR.
