John Marquis: Gillingham sign Millwall striker on loan

League One side Gillingham have signed Millwall striker John Marquis on a one-month loan deal.

The 22-year-old had a spell on loan at Cheltenham Town earlier this season, scoring two goals in 16 appearances.

Marquis, who has scored six goals in 53 outings for the Lions, has also spent time at Portsmouth, Torquay United and Northampton Town.

He will be with the Gills until after their fixture against Sheffield United on 7 February.
