Steve Round joins Derby County as part-time coach
Derby County head coach Steve McClaren has brought in former England coach Steve Round on a part-time basis.
Round, who was David Moyes' assistant at Manchester United and Everton, previously worked under McClaren when he was England and Middlesbrough boss.
"He is a top coach," "He is knowledgeable, enthusiastic and a big asset as well."
Round, 44, and McClaren were also both part of Derby's backroom staff between 1995 and 1999.
McClaren, whose side are third in the Championship, added: "At the present moment myself, Paul Simpson and Eric Steele work with the first team, while Lee Glover and Steve Taylor oversee the Under 21s, so we felt that sometimes we need some more 'individual attention'.
"Bringing Roundy in can help us do that and we hope he helps grow what we already have."
