Cardiff City sell Mats Moller Daehli to Freiburg
Cardiff City have sold midfielder Mats Moller Daehli to Bundesliga club Freiburg for an undisclosed fee.
The 19-year-old Norway international was signed by Cardiff in January 2014 from Molde and was former manager Ole Gunner Solskjaer's second signing.
Daehli has only made two substitute appearances since Russell Slade's appointment as manager.
He will not be able to join Freiburg officially until the January transfer window opens.
The deal is subject to international clearance and a Cardiff City statement read: "The deal will be completed on January 3rd 2015 in conjunction with the start of the transfer window.
"We would like to place on record our thanks to Mats for his contribution and wish him the very best for his future."
Daehli did not make the match-day squad for Saturday's 3-2 home loss against Brentford, or the previous 5-3 defeat at the hands of Championship leaders Bournemouth.
The Bluebirds travel to Charlton on Boxing Day and then play Watford at home on Sunday, 28 December.
