Rochdale sign Blackpool midfielder Tomasz Cywka on loan
Rochdale have signed Blackpool midfielder Tomasz Cywka on loan until January 3.
The former Poland Under-21 midfielder moved to England with Wigan in 2006 and has spells at Oldham, Derby and Reading before his move to Blackpool in July.
The 26-year-old worked with Dale manager Keith Hill at Barnsley.
Cywka will help cover the injuries to Matthew Lund and Peter Vincenti, whilst top scorer Matty Done failed to overturn his red card from Saturday.
Hill watched his side draw 2-2 at MK Dons on Tuesday following back-to-back league defeats, and believes his squad is facing a challenging time despite sitting just outside the League One play-off places.
"We're going through that testing time where it is testing the squad and testing me as a manager," the 45-year-old told 91热爆 Radio Manchester.
"I'm really pleased to have come here and got something out of the game.
"When we're 2-1 up going into the last five minutes of the game, you could be a tad disappointed, but I don't feel any disappointment whatsoever.
"I'm happy with a point as we're at stretching point, but not breaking point, at this moment in time."
It has been an impressive start for Rochdale in the third tier after promotion from League Two last term.
Hill guided Dale to an ninth-place finish the last time he managed the club in League One, but is more focused on consolidation this season.
"Do we want to get promoted and be in the promotion shake up? Of course we do if it was to happen," he added.
"But we can't force it and can't suggest we're in a position to be on a promotion campaign, we're just on a retaining-League-One-status campaign."
