Crewe Alexandra 1-1 Doncaster Rovers
Doncaster Rovers midfielder James Coppinger hit a late equaliser at Gresty Road to extend Crewe Alexandra's winless run to seven matches.
Teenage striker Uche Ikpeazu, starting his second spell on loan from Watford, put Crewe ahead on the half hour.
The 19-year-old turned to shoot home after being set up by fellow loanman Nicky Ajose, who was making his debut.
But Coppinger reacted to score from the rebound after Luke McCullough's effort was pushed away by keeper Ben Garratt.
Crewe Alexandra manager Steve Davis told 91热爆 Radio Stoke:
"We were excellent, especially in the first half. We played some terrific football at times and, if we keep doing what we did today, we should be okay. There were a lot of promising things.
"If we could have got a second goal during that period, we would have gone on to win but, at 1-0, there's always a chance they can get back in the game.
"In the second half we just couldn't sustain the level of energy. It was sapped very quickly and then they got on top a little bit. Maybe a point was fair in the end. They had a lot of pressure without creating any chances before their goal came from a set play.
Doncaster Rovers manager Paul Dickov told 91热爆 Radio Sheffield:
"We started the game really well and created a lot of opportunities. If we'd have scored in that period we would have been comfortable.
"But, give Crewe credit, the front two were a handful. In the first half they caused us a few problems but, in the second half, there was only one team in it. We created numerous chances again.
"The positive side is that we went a goal down and showed character to come back into the game again."
