Aaron Mclean: Bradford City weighing up Peterborough United offer
Peterborough United have made an approach to take former striker Aaron Mclean on loan, according to his club Bradford City.
The 31-year-old
Bantams boss Phil Parkinson says two League Two clubs have made better financial offers for the forward.
"Obviously Aaron's preference is Peterborough, because it's a higher division and he's played there before," he told 91热爆 Radio Leeds.
"A couple of League Two clubs wanted to take him.
"Peterborough have also called us, but Peterborough haven't matched the money offered by the other clubs.
"The money side of it is down to the chairman. I can understand why we'd want Peterborough to match or beat the offers."
Posh signed Mclean from non-league Grays in 2006, and he left in 2010 to join Hull City.
He arrived at Bradford in January, but has been limited to seven league starts this season, the last of which came in mid-October.
