Andy King: Leicester City 'remain confident' despite poor run
Midfielder Andy King insists confidence remains high at Leicester City despite a five-game winless run.
A 1-0 defeat by West Bromwich Albion on Saturday left the Foxes one point and one place above the relegation zone, having lost four from five since beating Manchester United 5-3.
"We have shown good character in the past and I'm sure we will again," King, 26, told 91热爆 East Midlands Today.
"We are a confident group and the manager gives us confidence."
Nigel Pearson's side had more possession and almost twice as many shots as the Baggies, but lost to a freakish Esteban Cambiasso own goal, the ball hitting the midfielder and rebounding into the net from Wes Morgan's headed clearance.
Wales international King, who has just signed a contract keeping him at the club until 2018, added: "We had the better chances and their goal was one that probably never happens again in a career.
"We had a right go and we were just so unlucky with their goal.
"We have to make sure we pick ourselves after a few disappointing results. We have to go again.
"We expect to win games - especially games like that. We want to put that right and climb up the table."
