Norwich City midfielder Elliott Bennett has returned to his former club Brighton on a one-month loan deal.

The 25-year-old left the Seagulls to join Norwich in 2011, and he made 32 Premier League appearances in his debut campaign for the Canaries.

But he suffered a long-term knee injury last year and has started just one league game this season.

Bennett is unavailable for Brighton's trip to Bournemouth on Saturday, but can face Wigan on Tuesday.

He will not be able to play against the Canaries in the Championship fixture on 22 November.
