Manager Stuart Pearce is looking to bring in new players after questioning Nottingham Forest's character in the home loss against Blackburn Rovers.

Forest led 1-0 at half-time but let in three goals in 11 second-half minutes.

"It was a concern how when Blackburn built up pressure we didn't show enough character to stem that," Pearce told 91热爆 Radio Nottingham.

"We've probably got two loans we can bring in and if we perform like that, it will become more critical."

The Reds are winless in seven league games and have slipped out of the play-offs for the first time this season.

Forest started the Championship season with an 11-game unbeaten run, but the defeat against Rovers was their second in three matches.

"I saw traits of Nottingham Forest at the back end of last season in the way we fell away from the game, which was concerning for me."

With key players missing through injury, Pearce says the club is close to making loan signings.

"We're still waiting on answers from varying managers who have told us to ring them next week about individuals," he said.

Andy Reid and Jack Hobbs have been sidelined for the past six weeks and captain Chris Cohen is out for the season with a persistent knee problem.
