Grant Holt: Huddersfield keep Wigan striker until 28 December
Huddersfield Town have extended Grant Holt's loan from Championship rivals Wigan Athletic until 28 December.
The 33-year-old striker joined on a month-long deal in September and has scored once in six games, during which time they are unbeaten in the league.
He is the only new arrival since Chris Powell succeeded Mark Robins' as permanent Town manager in September.
"Grant's had an immediate impact and it is fair to say has been a catalyst for our run,"
"We quickly made it clear to Grant that we wanted to extend his loan and he subsequently decided he's enjoying his football and wants to stay."
Holt has been out of favour at Wigan all year, spending the second half of last season on loan at Aston Villa.
