Striker Sam Baldock is confident that Brighton's form will turn around soon after a slow start to the season.

The Seagulls are on a run of four games without a win and are three points above the Championship's bottom three.

"Unfortunately for the whole team, it is not falling for us at the minute," the 25-year-old told 91热爆 Sussex.

"We are confident our luck will change because we know have got the quality. We definitely think things will pick up if we continue the way we are going."

Albion's fortunes have been mixed this season under new manager Sami Hyypia, who took charge at the Amex Stadium in June.

Since winning two of their opening four league games, the Finn's new-look side have taken just two points from the last 12 on offer, drawing at home to Charlton and Blackpool and suffering defeats at Brentford and Ipswich.

"There have been 11 signings and they can't all fit in straight away," Baldock added. "It is a system that not many people are used to but everyone is adapting to it.

"There is a lot of frustration around the dressing room but we can't let that get us down. We have got some tough fixtures coming up."

Baldock is yet to score in four appearances for the Sussex club since joining from Bristol City for an undisclosed fee in August.

The former MK Dons and West Ham striker hit 26 goals in all competitions in 2013-14 and is sure that he will soon find the back of the net, despite still getting used to playing as part of a three-man attack.

"I'm playing in different positions and trying to get in the right areas," he said. "It is good to be versatile. It is harder for you to be marked and the manager still gives us freedom to go into positions we favour more.

"It is something I like adapting to and I am looking forward to improving as a different type of player.

"Notoriously I have been up front, playing on the last man. There are still opportunities to do that here from three different positions. With the quality around, I think the chances will start coming more regularly for me."
