Oxford United Will Hoskins out injured until January
Oxford United striker Will Hoskins has been ruled out until January after tearing a tendon in his groin.
Hoskins, 28, injured himself during the 1-1 draw with Southend on Saturday and is not expected to play again this year, according to the club.
"It's obviously a big blow to us and to the player himself," said Oxford United manager Michael Appleton.
"Will had started to look sharp and was linking things together at the top of the pitch for us."
Hoskins began his career at Rotherham and was signed by Oxford from Brighton in August.
