Burnley have signed striker Lukas Jutkiewicz from Middlesbrough in a reported 拢1.5m deal.

The 25-year-old has signed a three-year-deal with Sean Dyche's Premier League newcomers.

Jutkiewicz was also wanted by Wigan, Derby and Bolton, where he spent a four-month loan spell last season.

He is Burnley's sixth signing of the summer after Steven Reid, Michael Kightly, Matt Gilks, Marvin Sordell and Matt Taylor.

He will link up with his new team-mate's at the club's pre-season training camp in Austria.

Jutkiewicz started his career at Swindon and joined Everton, aged 18, in a 拢1m switch in 2007.

He made only one appearance for the Toffees before moving to Coventry in 2010 for an undisclosed fee, then Boro two years later for 拢1.3m. He scored 11 goals in 64 appearances at the Riverside.
