England Under-21 midfielder Jake Forster-Caskey has signed a new three-year contract at Brighton.

The Championship club have also given goalkeeper Christian Walton, 18, a new four-year deal.

Albion manager Sami Hyypia told the club website: "Jake and Christian both have bright futures ahead.

"With the right application and hard work, they can be key players for the club. Jake has already proved himself at first-team level."

Forster-Caskey, 20, has made 49 appearances for the Seagulls, while Walton has yet to make his senior debut.
