FK Haugesund scored a crucial away goal to hold Airbus UK Broughton to a draw in the Europa League first qualifying round first leg.

Jordan Johnson struck from close range from Chris Budrys' pass to give Airbus the lead after 29 minutes.

Andy Preece's side deserved their lead and Haugesund keeper Per Bratveit denied Johnson and Budrys.

The Norwegians levelled two minutes before the interval through Daniel Bamberg's excellent 20-yard strike.

Goalkeeper James Coates made two important late saves to keep Airbus in the tie.

Bangor's Nantporth hosted the game with Airbus' Airfield ground at Broughton not meeting Uefa requirements and Wrexham's Racecourse Ground unavailable.

Airbus travel to Norway for the second leg on 10 July with FK Sarajevo awaiting the winners in the second qualifying round.
