Brennan Dickenson: Gillingham sign former Brighton forward

League One side Gillingham have signed forward Brennan Dickenson following his departure from Brighton & Hove Albion.

The 21-year-old, who did not make a competitive appearance for the Seagulls, has signed a two-year deal with the League One Gills.

Dickenson began his senior career at Dorchester Town and joined Brighton in January 2012.

He scored one goal in 13 appearances during a loan spell at Northampton Town last season.

The former Southampton trainee, who who can play on the wing or as a striker, has also spent time on loan at Chesterfield and AFC Wimbledon.

In total, Dickenson has scored four goals in 31 appearances in the Football League.
