Adam Taggart: Fulham sign Australia international striker
Fulham have signed Adam Taggart from Australian A-League side Newcastle Jets for an undisclosed fee.
The 21-year-old Australia international striker joins the Championship club on a three-year deal.
Taggart, who began his career at Perth Glory, joined the Jets in 2012 and scored 16 goals last season.
He made two appearances for the Socceroos at the World Cup in Brazil, featuring against the Netherlands and Spain in Group B.
Having represented Australia at under-20 and under-23 level, Taggart made his full international debut against Hong Kong in December 2012.
In total, he has won seven caps, scoring three goals.
Taggart is Fulham's second signing of the summer since their relegation from the Premier League, following the arrival of defender Shaun Hutchinson from Motherwell.
