Fulham boss Felix Magath says his team will avoid relegation
Fulham boss Felix Magath says he believes his side will stay in the Premier League but need to win their remaining two home games to do so.
Magath's side suffered a 3-1 defeat at Tottenham on Saturday and remain two points from safety.
The Cottagers host Hull and Crystal Palace either side of a trip to Stoke in their remaining three games.
"We have to win our home games and if we make six points it could be enough. We will stay up," said Magath.
"Maybe we have the chance of a point at Stoke."
Fulham midfielder Steve Sidwell cancelled out Paulinho's opener for Tottenham at White Hart Lane on Saturday but goals from Harry Kane and Younes Kaboul gave Spurs victory.
Sidwell also missed a late penalty as their run of two wins came to an end.
"I'm confident," said Magath. "I'm sure we will stay up, because there were reasons why we weren't as good as Tottenham, but next week we will make it better.
"We unfortunately have three players injured or ill so we had to change the team and that made us a little bit uncertain.
"We were not quite good enough so I think Tottenham were the better team."
