Danny Hollands: Portsmouth sign midfielder

Portsmouth have signed midfielder Danny Hollands on loan from Charlton until the end of the season.

Hollands, 28, started his career at Chelsea and also played for Bournemouth before joining Charlton in 2011.

He has made 62 appearances for the Addicks, but spent the first half of the season on loan at Gillingham.

Meanwhile, Pompey have recalled striker Ryan Bird from his loan spell at Cambridge United, having scored nine goals for the Conference Premier club.
