Coventry City: Anton Robinson signs on loan from Huddersfield
Coventry City have signed experienced Huddersfield midfielder Anton Robinson on loan until the end of the season.
The Sky Blues, who have won twice in 14 games, are now just four points clear of the relegation zone in League One.
Following Saturday's defeat at Brentford, City boss Steven Pressley has brought in Robinson, 28, who has played nearly 150 league games.
"He'll bring a degree of experience to our young midfield. He has an excellent work ethic," said Pressley.
"He has a wealth of experience in League One and has been part of a promotion-winning set-up in this league, so he knows what it takes to be successful."
Robinson was part of the Terriers team that won promotion to the Championship in 2012.
And he spent much of last season on loan with Gillingham, who went on to win promotion from League Two after Robinson's season was ended a month early with a knee injury.
Robinson will play his first game since 1 April 2013 if he makes his Sky Blues debut in Wednesday night's home League One game against Stevenage.
"We have to toughen up," Pressley told 91热爆 Coventry & Warwickshire after the match at Griffin Park on Saturday. "We're not winning enough tackles and that has to improve.
"We have a slight problem in respect of loan players. I don't think it means enough to loan players at this moment in time.
"Certain players, who are coming to the end of their contract, their minds aren't fully at it just now, and they need to do better.
"I have to see more hurt when we return to the dressing room, because it's hurting me and it's hurting my staff a great deal right now.
"I know it's hurting certain players - but maybe not enough."
