Gillingham: Crystal Palace defender Ryan Inniss joins on loan

Gillingham have signed Crystal Palace centre-back Ryan Inniss on loan until the end of the season.

The 18-year-old has had loan spells at Cheltenham and Luton this season, making a total of seven appearances.

The England youth international has come through the academy system at Selhurst Park but is yet to make a senior appearance for the Eagles.

Meanwhile, the Gills have terminated the contract of 21-year-old midfielder Charlie Allen by mutual consent.

Allen joined Gillingham in July 2012 but has not played for the club since the start of Peter Taylor's reign as manager.

New signing Inniss is eligible to make his debut for the Gills in Wednesday's League One match at home to Sheffield Wednesday.
